Repair and Improvement of the Third Concession Drain

The Town of LaSalle Public Works Department will begin repair and improvement work at the end of January or early February on the Third Concession Drain as part of a project carried out under the Drainage Act. The Town of LaSalle has over 50 municipal drains. Under the provincial drainage act the town is responsible for maintenance, repair, improvements, and expansion of the drain infrastructure.

The work related to the Third Concession Drain includes brushing, culvert maintenance, erosion protection, and ditching along the open drain to ensure proper function and long term stability of the municipal drainage system. The work is expected to take approximately 6 weeks to complete, weather permitting.
