Upcoming Construction Projects

2026 Trail Construction

Trail work to be completed between Elsworth Avenue and Riverview Avenue, as well as between Villa Maria Boulevard and the Herb Gray Parkway trail network. Project timeline: April to August 2026.

2026 Mill and Pave - Disputed Road

A process called CIREAM will be used to repair the asphalt by heating and reusing the road that is already there. The project area is on Disputed Rd between North Townline Rd and Seven Lakes Drive.

April 2026, to August 2026

2026 Mill and Pave - Wahnata and Senator

Road rehabilitation, limits of roadwork will be Senator Street, Manhattan Avenue, and Wahneta Avenue. Project timeline: May to August 2026.

2026 Annual Watermain Reconstruction

Annual Town of LaSalle Watermain Reconstruction project. Limits of the reconstruction will be Wales Street, Centre Avenue, and Quick Avenue. Project timeline: March to July 2026.

Pickleball and Tennis Courts

A new activity facility is being added at the Vollmer Complex beside Sandwich Secondary School. The facility will feature 10 new pickleball courts, 4 tennis courts (installed in 2022), washrooms, and outdoor lighting.

April 2026, to August 2026

Ongoing Construction Projects

Malden Road Phase 1

A large scale project that includes above and below ground utility work, bridge crossing upgrades, road widening, and pedestrian facility reconstruction. It is set to take place over then next two years, working in different phases. More information is on the Malden Road Project Page.

Winter 2025, to Winter 2027

Front Road Storm Reconstruction

A large scale project, associated with the Disaster Mitigation and Adaptation Fund (DMAF). The project includes storm main work along Adams Lane, and Front Road. A pump station will be added on Adams Lane, and the existing pump station at G. Craig Park will be upgraded.

Fall 2025, to Winter 2026

Repair & Improvement of the 3rd Concession Drain

This project will include brushing, culvert maintenance, erosion protection, and ditching along the open drain. The work is expected to take approximately 6 weeks to complete, dependent on weather conditions.

January 2026, to April 2026
