Ride LaSalle Transit for Free Strawberry Festival Weekend!

Ride LaSalle Transit 25 for free from Thursday, June 11, to Saturday, June 13! The bus service has been enhanced during the LaSalle Strawberry Festival with free service and extended hours to match those of the festival. Buses will run during festival hours on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with final pick-ups at the Vollmer Complex around the time the festival closes. A shuttle service to the fireworks will not be offered this year; however, parking is available at Town Hall or the Event Centre with access to the festival via Route 25. LaSalle Transit does not run on Sundays. Schedules are posted on the Getting to the Festival and LaSalle Transit pages on the Town’s website. 

A road closure for a portion of Mike Raymond Drive is in effect from Monday, June 8, to Monday, June 15. All vehicular traffic entering the Vollmer Centre parking lots must do so from Laurier Parkway. Parking may be difficult at the Vollmer Complex throughout the festival. Parking is free and will be first-come, first-served all weekend. Patrons are reminded not to park in No Parking Zones as they could be ticketed and/or towed. 

Ride your bicycle to the festival and take advantage of the free bike valet service hosted by Bike Windsor Essex. The valet service is located close to gate #1 (look for the signs). 

The LaSalle Strawberry Festival Parade is being relocated due to ongoing construction along Front Road. The parade will take place on Saturday, June 13, starting at 10:00 am, using Laurier Parkway and the surrounding roads near the Vollmer Complex. Temporary road closures will be in effect along Laurier Parkway at Malden Road and Disputed Road on June 13 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am to support safe and accessible parade operations.  

Please remember that bags or purses larger than 14” X 14” X 6” will not be allowed into the festival. Diaper bags and medical bags are allowed. All persons and bags entering the festival will be inspected by security. A $2 bag check is available at the Bike Valet (cash only). 

The LaSalle Strawberry Festival takes place from June 11 to 14, 2026 at the Vollmer Complex featuring a carnival, fireworks, parade, live entertainment, and food, including local strawberries. Visit the LaSalle Strawberry Festival web page for more information, including a complete schedule.
