Environment Canada has issued a heat warning from August 26 to 27, 2024. A heat warning is issued when two consecutive days are forecasted to have a daytime high temperature greater than or equal to 31°C and a nighttime temperature greater than or equal to 21°C or a humidex greater than 42°C.  

Due to forecasted potential for storms later today, the location of the Sunday, August 25, 2024 LaSalle Night Market has been moved to the Event Centre at 970 Front Road. This location allows for the market to be held indoors.

A planned service disruption to the Internet and telephone system is scheduled to take place beginning at 9:00 am on Sunday, August 18. The LaSalle Civic Centre, Vollmer Centre, LaSalle Fire Service, and Public Works will be impacted.

Tickets are available for purchase starting today! Enjoy live music, regional wines, craft beers, premium spirits, and food trucks on Friday, September 6 and/or Saturday, September 7. Admission is 19+. Tickets are $25 per person, per night. Secure your tickets early as we anticipate the event selling out.

In order to complete regular maintenance of the H20asis Aquatic Centre, the indoor pool, sauna, and hot tub at the Vollmer Centre will be closed from Monday, September 2 to Friday, September 27, and re-open for use on Saturday, September 28, 2024. The pool is typically scheduled to be closed in September each year for maintenance. 

UPDATE: The pickleball courts are completed and ready for play. Signs with pickleball court rules are on order and will be posted on-site in the coming weeks.
