    The Parkland Dedication By-law 2025-005 was approved at the Regular Meeting of LaSalle Council, Tuesday, January 28, 2025. The by-law outlines the requirements for developers to dedicate a portion of their land for parkland or make a payment in lieu of this dedication when developing or redeveloping land.

  • Mayor Meloche On Location February 12, 2025

    Mayor Meloche will be on location at the Vollmer Centre on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

    Whether you are visiting the Vollmer Centre to take in the Vipers game or for lessons or activities, stop and say 'Hi' to Mayor Meloche. She will be in the lobby area talking to residents. Ask her questions or share your ideas about LaSalle. She wants to hear from you.

  • LaSalle to Enhance Senior Programs with $55K Grant from Ministry

    MPP Anthony Leardi was at the Vollmer Centre on Friday, January 24, to announce a $55,000 annual grant on behalf of Minister Cho and the Ministry of Seniors and Accessibility. This designates LaSalle for a Senior Active Living Centre (SALC).

  • Second Fire Station Opens in LaSalle

    The Town of LaSalle is excited to announce the opening of its second fire station on Sunday, January 19, 2025. Located at 2190 Front Road, this new facility will begin operation with its first shift for firefighters, marking a significant step in enhancing the Town's emergency response capabilities. Fire prevention services will also operate out of this new location.

  • Winter Indoor Drop-in Pickleball at the Event Centre

    Indoor drop-in pickleball begins at the Event Centre this month! Beginning on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, afternoon and evening sessions will be open to the public.

  • 2025 Dog Licence Renewal

    The Town of LaSalle requires all dogs within the municipality to be licensed by March 31 each year. Reminder letters will be mailed out this month.

  • LaSalle Quarterly Water Bills - January 2025

    The Town of LaSalle residential quarterly water and wastewater bills were mailed at the beginning of this month and are due by Friday, January 31.

  • Vollmer Centre Temporary Closure - January 10, 2025

    The Vollmer Centre will be closed from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Friday, January 10, 2025, for scheduled maintenance. The water will be shut off throughout the building during this time to repair a water connection. We thank you for your understanding.
