The Town of LaSalle residential quarterly water and wastewater bills were mailed at the beginning of this month and are due by Friday, October 25.

A Statutory Public Meeting under the Planning Act is being held to share information with the public and to receive and hear comments from persons and agencies on the draft documents related to the Howard Bouffard Secondary Plan (HBSP). Monday, September 30 is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. To honour the children who survived residential schools and remember those who did not, many Canadians across the country will wear an orange shirt on this date. Let’s take time to reflect on the survivors, their families, and communities affected by residential schools. Many activities are taking place across Windsor-Essex County.
In June 2021, the federal government passed historic legislation designating September 30 as a federal statutory holiday. This significant day, known as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, serves as a tribute to the children who never returned home from residential schools, the courageous survivors who lived through those challenging times, and the enduring strength of their families and communities.
It was an amazing summer in the sun at the LaSalle Outdoor Pool. As the season quickly comes to an end, the outdoor pool is scheduled to close Friday, September 27.
The last summer series LaSalle Night Market is taking place this coming weekend. Join us Sunday, September 29, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Event Centre at LaSalle Landing, 970 Front Road.
Mondays with the Mayor gives members of the community an opportunity to meet with Mayor Crystal Meloche in person to share ideas or ask questions.
