March Break in LaSalle

March Break is quickly approaching, and the Town of LaSalle is welcoming the week with a variety of activities for residents of all ages. Residents can enjoy local recreation programs, explore scenic parks, and trails. With many opportunities close to home, the Town encourages everyone to get out, stay active, and make the most of the upcoming March break.
March Break Fun at the Vollmer Centre
The Vollmer Centre March Break Swim and Skate Schedule runs from Saturday, March 14 to Friday, March 20, 2026. Pre-registration for March Break swims and skating is highly recommended as spaces are limited.
Parks and Trails
As the weather continues to warm up, LaSalle’s many parks and trails become an ideal way for residents to enjoy the outdoors. With scenic pathways, social spaces, and plenty of spots to walk, cycle, or simply unwind, LaSalle offers countless opportunities to embrace the fresh spring air. LaSalle Transit Student Savings
To celebrate March Break, students can ride LaSalle Transit 25 Route for $1 cash fare per ride from Monday, March 16 to Friday, March 20, 2026.
LaSalle Transit Service operates one bus Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, and a second bus during the peak morning and afternoon hours. There is one bus operating on Saturday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. It will take approximately 45 minutes for one bus to travel the entire route. The Town of LaSalle has an agreement in place with Transit Windsor for operation of the buses.
LaSalle Senior Active Living
Seniors can join in the March Break excitement with a series of engaging weekly activities with LaSalle Senior Active Living weekly learning sessions. Participants can enjoy board game sessions, take part in a book and puzzle exchange, or explore the art and technique of origami. Registration is now open.
