Online Voting Opens for the 2026 LaSalle Municipal and School Board Election

Online voting is now open for the 2026 LaSalle Municipal and School Board Election.

Eligible electors can cast their votes online using any computer, tablet, or smartphone from home or while on the go. Voting at www.lasallevotes.ca is available 24 hours a day and will remain open until 8:00 pm on Monday, October 26, 2026.

To vote online, electors require a Voter Information Letter, which contains the personal identification number (PIN) needed to access the online voting system. Those letters have been mailed.

Residents who did not receive a Voter Information Letter or who need to update their voter information can visit a Voter Help Centre beginning today. Eligible electors may visit a Voter Help Centre to:

• Update voter information
• Get a Voter Information Letter (includes a PIN number needed to vote)
• Receive assistance with online voting

Residents who need to confirm, update, or add voter information must do so in person at the LaSalle Civic Centre, 5950 Malden Road.

Voter information may need to be updated if a resident has:

• Changed their name or address
• Started renting or purchased a new property
• Sold a property or no longer rents a property
• Requested to be removed from the Voters' List
• Requested the removal of a deceased person from the Voters' List

When visiting a Voter Help Centre, electors must provide two pieces of valid government-issued identification, one of which must include a photo.

Voter Help Centre Locations and Hours

To make it easier to access election services at the Voter Help Centre, LaSalle Transit Route 25 will be free for all riders on Friday, October 23, and Monday, October 26.

The Town of LaSalle is committed to ensuring that all its residents can fully participate in the 2026 Municipal and School Board Election.  Accessible formats and communication support will be provided upon request. The appropriate format or support will be identified through consultation with the requestor. For more information, please contact the Election Office at 519-969-7770 ext. 1263.
