Carbon Monoxide (CO) Awareness Week runs November 1 to 7, and LaSalle Fire Service is reminding everyone to recognize the health risks and danger CO poses with tips, suggestions, and advice on how to protect your family and stay safe. 

You won't want to miss the upcoming coffee and conversation with the Town of LaSalle's Strategy and Engagement Department. Join us at the Monday, November 3, Coffee with a Community Leader session from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. This department shares information on behalf of the Town in many different ways in order to keep residents engaged and informed. The LaSalle Firefighters Associations are excited for the return of LaSalle Gives Back this holiday season. From Thursday, November 13 to Saturday, November 15, 2025, LaSalle Firefighters and community volunteers will take to the streets in LaSalle to distribute newsletters and accept monetary donations for St. Andrews Anglican Church – Community Food Bank and LaSalle Hangout for Youth

Today, Enbridge Gas Ontario (Enbridge Gas) and LaSalle Fire Service announced they are working together to improve home safety and bring fire and carbon monoxide-related deaths down to zero.

Mike Seguin was officially sworn in as a member of LaSalle Council during the Regular Meeting of Council held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Seguin was elected in the 2025 LaSalle Municipal By-Election on October 20, following the passing of long-serving Councillor Sue Desjarlais. Seguin’s term as councillor will run until November 14, 2026. The next municipal election in LaSalle is set for October 2026.

The Sandwich West Parkway at Heritage Drive roundabout project final touches are underway. The work is expected to wrap up by Friday this week. The intersection has been closed for the construction of a new roundabout as part of the Heritage Commercial Plaza development.
