  • Pick Up Voter Information Letter in Order to Vote in the 2025 LaSalle By-Election

    Due to the nationwide strike by Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW), Eligible voters in LaSalle can pick up their Voter Information Letter (VIL) to cast their vote in the 2025 Municipal By-Election.The VILs will be available beginning on Wednesday, October 8 at 9:30 am at the LaSalle Civic Centre to vote by internet for the position of one councillor seat. This letter includes the PIN number that will be used to log into the voting system. It is needed in order to cast a vote.

  • LaSalle 2025 By-Election Nominations

    The Town of LaSalle is currently accepting nominations for the 2025 Municipal By-Election. Individuals interested in running for office are encouraged to submit their nomination forms in person at the LaSalle Civic Centre, located at 5950 Malden Road. The nomination period is currently open and will close on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.

     

  • Notice of LaSalle By-Election 2025

    NOTICE is hereby given to the Municipal Electors of the Town of LaSalle that a By-Election to elect one (1) at-large Councillor, has been called. Voting Day for this By-Election is Monday, October 20, 2025. The newly-elected Councillor will be sworn in on October 28, 2025, and will hold office until the end of the term, on November 14, 2026.

    At the Regular Meeting of Council, Tuesday, July 8, 2025, Council is expected to adopt a by-law to hold a By-Election for 1 Councillor Seat.
