Get Ready for a Spooktacular Time at LaSalle Truck or Treat
Calling all ghosts, goblins and little trick-or-treaters! Get your costumes ready for a spooktacular afternoon at LaSalle Truck or Treat on Saturday, October 24, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Vollmer Complex, 2121 Laurier Parkway.
Families are invited to explore an exciting lineup of unique vehicles, including emergency, construction and other specialty vehicles, while collecting Halloween treats along the way. Costumes are encouraged!
The event will take place in parking lot #5, located between the soccer fields. Attendees are encouraged to park in parking lots #3, 4, 6 and 7. Parking lots closest to the Vollmer Centre entrances (parking lots #1 and #2), will be reserved for those attending scheduled programming inside the building. Use the attached map to help plan your visit. Please do not park at nearby Sandwich Secondary School, as the school is hosting an event on the same day.
The entrance fee is $3.00 per child payable by cash, debit, or credit card. Parents and guardians are free to enter.
Candy will be available on tables throughout the event and children can take a piece of candy from the tables. Participants are encouraged to bring their own trick-or-treat bag.
For everyone's safety, vehicles on display are for viewing only. Participants will not be permitted to climb on, enter or touch the vehicles. We appreciate your cooperation.
The LaSalle Fire Service will be on-site accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys for all ages in support of the LaSalle Sparky’s Toy Drive. Donations are appreciated and will help bring some extra holiday cheer to local families in need.
There's a new vehicle coming to Town and it needs a name! Stop by the Public Works display and cast your vote for your favourite name for the Town of LaSalle's newest excavator. Grade 1 classes in LaSalle will submit their creative name suggestions, and Truck or Treat attendees will have the final say.
The winning name will be revealed on-site at 3:00 pm and will become the excavator's official name, proudly displayed on the vehicle. Stop by and show your support!
Vendor Opportunities
Vehicle Participant | Vehicles are the stars of Truck or Treat! Businesses and organizations are invited to showcase a unique vehicle and join in the Halloween fun. Construction equipment, farm vehicles, trucks, and other interesting vehicles are welcome.
Participants are encouraged to decorate their vehicles with a family-friendly Halloween theme and provide treats for attendees. Get creative and help make this year's event a memorable experience for the community. Applications are now open until Sunday, October 18. Food Vendor Participant | Calling all food vendors! Add some flavour to the Halloween festivities at LaSalle Truck or Treat. Whether you specialize in savoury bites, sweet treats, or family favourites, we’d love to have you be part of the fun. Applications are now open until Sunday, October 18. Complete the 2026 Truck or Treat Food Vendor Application.
Temporary washrooms will be available. LaSalle Truck or Treat is an outdoor event that will take place rain or shine. In the case of severe weather, the event will be closed and may be reopened by Town staff once the weather passes. Please visit the LaSalle Events Facebook page for updates.
