LaSalle Offers Seniors a Chance to Connect Over Coffee with Community Leaders
The Town of LaSalle continues to invite residents aged 55+ to participate in its Coffee with a Community Leader series—an ongoing program designed to foster meaningful connections between seniors and local leaders in a relaxed and informal setting.
Coffee with a Community Leader takes place at various locations in LaSalle, each session features a different guest speaker from sectors such as business, education, health care, and local government. Participants enjoy complimentary coffee and light refreshments while gaining valuable insights and engaging in open dialogue with those who help shape our community.
The next session takes place on Monday, September 8, at the Vollmer Centre, 2121 Laurier Parkway, featuring representatives from the LaSalle Police Services. This is a free and unique opportunity to ask questions, share concerns, and learn more about community safety in a welcoming environment.
Pre-registration is mandatory and opens two weeks prior to each session. Register here.
Funded by the Province of Ontario, this initiative is part of LaSalle’s commitment to promoting active living, social engagement, and lifelong learning for older adults. Whether you're looking to learn something new, meet new people, or simply enjoy a good cup of coffee, this series offers something for everyone.
