LaSalle Strawberry Festival – Save the Date!

Save the date for this year’s LaSalle Strawberry Festival that promises a fantastic lineup of entertainment, a carnival, LaSalle’s cherished parade, fireworks, and plenty of delicious food, including local strawberries, of course! Organizers are busy planning the four-day festival that takes place from Thursday, June 5 to Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the Vollmer Recreation Complex, 2121 Laurier Parkway.  

“The LaSalle Strawberry Festival is a celebration of our town’s history and community spirit. As our longest-running event - now in its 37th year- it reflects the heart of LaSalle—where families, friends, and visitors come to celebrate summer. From exciting entertainment to tasty local strawberries, there’s something for everyone,” said Mayor Crystal Meloche. 

Businesses and organizations are encouraged to have some fun and gain free exposure by entering the LaSalle Strawberry Festival parade on Saturday, June 7, starting at 10:00 am! The route is 1.5 KM, starting at Turkey Creek Bridge on Front Road and ending at Sacred Heart Drive.

Get ready for family fun with the Canadian Throw 2 Catch Entertainment group featuring their Geek Quest show! This thrilling acrobatic show, scheduled multiple times throughout the festival, will leave you breathless! Blending jaw-dropping acrobatics, humour, and heart, this lively show invites audiences of all ages to embrace their inner geek and cheer on a band of unlikely heroes. Watch as they perform synchronized flips, daring partner stunts, and gravity-defying throws. You won't want to miss it!  

Musical entertainment headliners include The Adam Butcher Band on Thursday Evening, Slim Pickerel Band on Friday evening, and The Jody Raffoul Band on Saturday evening.   

Jody Raffoul is a rock singer-songwriter from Leamington, Ontario, known for his powerful voice and heartfelt, blue-collar style of music. With a career spanning over three decades, he has built a loyal fan base through his energetic live performances and authentic songwriting. Jody has shared the stage with acts like Bon Jovi, Joe Cocker, and The Guess Who, and continues to be a staple in the Canadian independent music scene. His music blends classic rock influences with a modern edge, reflecting his roots and personal storytelling.  

Slim Pickerel is a dynamic four-piece band rooted in Windsor, Ontario, blending a diverse palette of influences including rock, folk, country, Motown, and blues. Known for their genre-fluid style, their music reflects their upbringing in Essex County, shaped by the working-class spirit and the scenic Great Lakes landscape. Their sound ranges from heartfelt ballads to energetic jams with mesmerizing guitar solos and storytelling that resonates with everyday life and struggles. 

Adam Butcher is a country music artist from Amherstburg, Ontario, known for his captivating live performances. Adam’s passion for country music and his magnetic stage presence continue to drive him as he ventures into new musical territories.
