Hello residents of LaSalle,

As we welcome the arrival of spring, it’s wonderful to see our community coming to life once again. Warmer weather brings more time spent outdoors, more opportunities to connect, and many exciting events ahead. I would like to remind everyone that with more children walking, people cycling, and pedestrians enjoying our neighbourhoods, it’s important to drive carefully and share the road with one another. 

LaSalle Awards of Excellence Tickets 

One of our most anticipated community events is quickly approaching. I am pleased to invite residents to join us for the LaSalle Awards of Excellence on Thursday, April 9, at the Event Centre at LaSalle Landing. This special evening celebrates the individuals, organizations, and teams whose dedication and contributions help make LaSalle such a vibrant and caring community. We look forward to recognizing those who make a positive difference in our town. Purchase your tickets today. 

Easter Weekend 

Easter weekend is just around the corner. Please note that municipal hours will change for this holiday. The LaSalle Civic Centre will be closed on Good Friday, April 3, and Easter Monday, April 6. The Vollmer Centre will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday, but remains open on Monday, April 6. On behalf of Council and Team LaSalle, I wish everyone a happy Easter to those who celebrate. 

Spring Fling 

Join us on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, for our annual LaSalle Spring Fling event at the LaSalle Civic Centre! This fun-filled community event is the perfect way to welcome the season with family and friends. This event features exciting activities for all ages, including busker shows, vendors, food, sweet treats, activities, and live entertainment that celebrate the magical spirit of Spring.

LaSalle Transit Master Plan Feedback 

Time is running out to submit your comments about LaSalle Transit Route 25 via PlaceSpeak or a brief survey. We continue to seek community input as part of the LaSalle Transit Master Plan. Residents, local businesses, and community partners are encouraged to participate.. Your feedback will help shape the future of LaSalle Transit. The survey is open until Tuesday, March 31.
