Pick Up Voter Information Letter in Order to Vote in the 2025 LaSalle By-Election

Due to the nationwide strike by Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW), eligible voters can pick up their Voter Information Letter (VIL) to cast their vote in the 2025 LaSalle Municipal By-Election. The VILs will be available beginning on Wednesday, October 8 at 9:30 am at the LaSalle Civic Centre to vote by internet for the position of one councillor seat. 

Voter Information Letters can be picked up in Council Chambers at the LaSalle Civic Centre, 5950 Malden Road, during the dates and times listed below. This letter includes the PIN number that will be used to log into the voting system. It is needed in order to cast a vote. Voters will be required to provide a valid government-issued ID, with a photo. Voters can pick up VILs for other voters in the same household only. 

Votes can be cast using any computer or wireless device, 24 hours a day from virtually anywhere beginning Friday, October 10, from 10:00 am until Monday, October 20 at 8:00 pm. Beginning on Friday, October 10 voters requiring assistance can attend the Voter Help Centre at the LaSalle Civic Centre, 5950 Malden Road. Whether residents have questions about the voting method or need access to technology to vote, the Town will provide assistance.
