Residents Invited to Meet the Candidates for the 2026 LaSalle Municipal and School Board Election

The Town of LaSalle invites residents to attend a Meet the Candidates event on Monday, September 28, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Event Centre, 970 Front Road.

The event will provide voters with an opportunity to meet LaSalle Town Council and School Board Trustee candidates seeking election. Attending a Meet the Candidates event is an important way for residents to become informed before casting their vote. It offers voters the chance to hear directly from candidates, compare perspectives, and make more informed decisions on Election Day.

The format is a meet and greet and will not include a debate or moderated candidate questions. No registration is required. This event is open to all residents and is offered as a public service to assist voters in accessing candidate-supplied information. All information shared by the candidates themselves reflects their individual views, priorities, and vision for the community.

The Town encourages residents to attend candidate events, review campaign materials, social media and websites throughout the campaign period to help make informed decisions.

Attendees are also invited to check if they are on the Voters’ List or update their voter information at the event. Voters will be required to provide valid ID to support any changes to their information.
