Roadway Work on Front Road Expected to Finish in the Coming Weeks

The Front Road storm sewer reconstruction project is reaching a significant milestone, with the work taking place directly on the roadway expected to be completed within the next couple of weeks.
Over the coming days, crews will focus on paving the remaining asphalt areas, including Adams Lane and select driveways, as well as completing final line painting throughout the project area. Restoration activities are also underway and include topsoil placement, seeding, and minor concrete work in select locations.
Residents may notice that the northbound curb lane remains closed with traffic barrels in place. This lane closure is being maintained to provide a safe work area for restoration crews. Motorists can expect all four traffic lanes on Front Road to reopen within the next two weeks.
While roadway construction is nearing completion, the overall project will continue as work shifts to the next phase involving the pump station facilities. Residents may also notice equipment being set up near Adams Lane. Amico has begun moving crews and equipment into the area in preparation for this upcoming work. New pump stations at G. Craig Park and near the Riverdance building at the west end of Adams Lane will take two years to complete.
The Town of LaSalle appreciates the patience and cooperation of residents, businesses, and motorists throughout construction and looks forward to reopening all traffic lanes once it is safe to do so.
