Short-Term Rentals in LaSalle – We Want Your Input!

sub division, people shaking hands, condo

The Town of LaSalle, with help from WSP Canada, is doing a study to look at ways to manage Short-Term Rentals (STRs) in the community. This could lead to changes in the Town’s Official Plan, Zoning By-law, and additional municipal by-laws.

The study will include in-depth research and public engagement, followed by the development of several options for consideration. Final recommendations will be made to Town Council.

What is a Short-Term Rental?

A Short-Term Rental (STR) is when someone rents out all or part of their home to guests for a short time — not as a permanent place to live. STRs can include places listed on websites like Airbnb or Vrbo, small inns, or bed and breakfasts.

Join Us for a Public Information Session

The Town is holding a drop-in session to share more about the study and hear feedback from the community. Feedback will help us understand what issues matter most.

Date: Thursday, October 23, 2025

Time: 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Location: Vollmer Centre (Lobby Area), 2121 Laurier Parkway

We want to hear from you! Come out to learn more, ask questions, and share your ideas about the future of Short-Term Rentals in LaSalle.
