Splash Pad Opening for the Season: May 15, 2026

Summer is just around the corner, and there’s no better way to celebrate warm, sunny days than splashing, laughing, and cooling off with friends and family. Beginning Friday, May 15, the Splash Pad at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex officially opens for the season (weather dependent), welcoming residents to one of LaSalle’s coolest hangouts.

Located at 2121 Laurier Parkway, this popular summer destination will be open daily from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times, as this amenity is unsupervised. Please be kind and share the space with others.

Throughout the spring and summer, rentals are taking place at the pavilion located near the splash pad and accessible playground, and frequently large groups may be using the area. The splash pad and accessible playground will be open to the public at all times.

There is no charge to use this water play area, and outdoor washrooms are available and located next to the splash pad. For more information, visit our Splash Pad page.

Residents can also enjoy another new and exciting water feature, the Rotary Circle water feature at LaSalle Landing. This amenity will also open on Friday, May 15 (weather dependent), offering a second location to cool off and enjoy the outdoors.

The Rotary Circle, established in 2025, is an interactive water feature located at The Loop at LaSalle Landing, 1010 Front Road. On warm summer days, it’s the perfect place to cool off—run through 24 playful water spray jets, splash around with friends, or simply enjoy the refreshing mist. Surrounding benches offer a great spot to sit back and take it all in, while three large shade sails give you the option to bask in the sun or relax in the shade. Whether you’re looking to get soaked or just stay cool, the Rotary Circle is a fun and refreshing destination for all ages.
