Temporary Trail Closure on Sprucewood Trail North of Orford Street

The Sprucewood Trail north of Orford Street will be temporarily closed beginning Wednesday, July 15, to allow for storm sewer infrastructure work. 

The trail closure is required for the installation of a storm sewer outlet serving a new residential development, Notting Hill Subdivision. Work is expected to be completed and the trail reopened by Saturday, July 25. 

While the storm sewer will be installed using a trenchless construction method and the trail surface will not be removed, construction equipment and crews will be operating in the area. The temporary closure is necessary to help ensure the safety of trail users and workers. 

Residents are asked to respect all posted signage and avoid the closed section of the trail until work is complete. 

The Town thanks residents for their patience and cooperation during the construction period.
