Town of LaSalle 2026 Schedule of Fees

At the Regular Meeting of Council on January 27, 2026, LaSalle Council approved the 2026 Schedule of Fees. This approval confirms the 2026 user fees and ensures they are aligned with the financial direction established during budget deliberations. 

Reviewed annually as part of the budget process, the Schedule of Fees outlines all municipal user fees and charges that support programs, permits, services, and facility operations. These fees typically cover areas such as recreation, planning and development applications, public works services, facility rentals, permits, and administrative services.  

During the 2026 budget session, administration proposed amendments to the 2026 User Fee Schedule. The schedule reflects a comprehensive review of all fees. Based on a variety of factors including the cost to deliver the service, materials, and supplies, the fees have increased by 3% to 12%. User groups were notified in advance of the potential upcoming fee changes. 

“Municipal user fees allow the Town to recover the cost of providing specific services while limiting impacts on the property tax levy and supporting long-term financing sustainability,” says Tano Ferraro, Manager of Finance. 

Residents can expect updated service fees to come into effect immediately. These changes are consistent with the overall financial plan for the year and help ensure the Town continues providing stable, reliable, and high-quality services. All adjustments were evaluated through the established budget process and are part of the Town’s strategy to maintain service levels responsibly.
