Turtle Club Parade Temporary Detour Route - Road Closure Notice

LaSalle Turtle Club players, coaches, and family members will be celebrating baseball’s opening day with a parade on Saturday, April 25. Due to the ongoing storm sewer reconstruction project along Front Road, the 2026 Turtle Club parade will follow a temporary detour.
2026 Parade Route: Starting at 10:00 am, the parade will begin at the Event Centre at LaSalle Landing. Participants will travel the following route:
- Exit the Event Centre by crossing Front Road at Bouffard Road.
- Travel east along Bouffard Road towards Michigan Avenue.
- Turn left (north) onto Michigan Avenue towards Reaume Road.
- Turn right (east) onto Reaume Road and enter the main entrance of Turtle Club Park.
- Once participants arrive at Turtle Club Park, opening ceremonies will take place.
The following roads will be closed to all vehicular traffic on Saturday, April 25, from 9:30 am to approximately 11:00 am, including:
- Bouffard Road: From Front Road to Michigan Road
- Front Road: From Reaume Road to Laurier Road (fully closed while pedestrians are crossing the road, approximately 10-15 minutes)
- Michigan Road: From Bouffard Road to Reaume Road
- Reaume Road: From Front Road to Carnegie Avenue
The public are encouraged to cheer on the walkers, and everyone is invited to celebrate opening day at Turtle Club Park. LaSalle Police Service is asking residents for their patience and to plan travel routes accordingly.
