For those who are looking to get some exercise while skating on the ice. Hockey sticks are allowed but please note that pucks are prohibited. Fees:

Drop-In Figure Skating |
This is a drop-in program for recreational figure skaters to practice their skating skills. Fee: $9.25 For: Youth 7+, children under 10 must be supervised by an adult. Tuesday: 6:30 AM - 7:50 AM Location: Rink B |
Home School Skate |
This is a drop-in program for recreational figure skaters to practice their skating skills. Fee: $9.25 For: Youth 7+, children under 10 must be supervised by an adult. Thursday: 12:00 PM - 12:50 PM Location: Rink A |

Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on the ice. Fees:

Recreational Skate |
Come and enjoy a skate open for all ages. Skating aids and trainers are permitted on the ice but must remain within the centre ice area (neutral zone). Hockey sticks and pucks are prohibited. Fees:

Sticks and Pucks (Adult) |
Stay in the game and keep in shape with our drop in sticks and pucks time. Practice your stick handling and skating skills in a slower paced environment. This is an unstructured ice time. No private programs are permitted. Organized hockey games, slap shots and structured practices are not permitted. For individuals 18 years of age and older. CSA approved helmets are recommended to be worn by participants. Fee: $7.00 For: Adults 18+ Wednesday/Friday: 10:00 AM - 10:50 AM Location: Rink A |
Skating Aids and Trainers |
Skating aids and trainers are permitted on the ice but must remain within the centre ice area (neutral zone). Please monitor your children when they use these devices. Chairs and strollers are not permitted on the ice surface. Individuals in wheelchairs are permitted to enter the ice surface in their wheelchair. |

We strongly recommend all skaters wear a CSA approved hockey helmet for their own safety and protection. Please follow these rules while on the ice surface:

Emergency Phone |
For your safety during an emergency, an emergency phone is located inside the penalty box area. The phone connects directly to emergency services. In the event of an emergency, direct emergency services to the Vollmer Recreation Complex, located at 2121 Laurier Parkway. If an emergency situation arises, please advise Town staff immediately. |
