Reservations:

  • You must pre-register to use the aquatic centre.
  • To register, please go to www.lasalleactive.ca or call 519-969-7771, ext. 0 or 4116.
  • Walk-in participation and visitors will only be permitted if space allows.
  • You must pre-register based on predetermined time slots.
  • Reservations for the entire week (Monday to Sunday) can now be scheduled beginning on the Monday of the previous week, please note that space is limited
  • For example, if you wish to attend an Aqua fitness class everyday from Monday August 16th to Friday August 20th (from 8:45a-9:30a), you may register for all five appointments simultaneously, beginning on Monday August 9th
  • Registration will commence on Tuesdays should a holiday fall on a Monday (Civic Holiday, Labour Day)
  • Participants should reserve a spot in the pool based on water depth of your preference.

Private Swimming Lessons:

  • Instructors will remain physically distanced while teaching to reduce contact.

  • Children working on any Parent and Tot, Preschool, Swimmer 1 or Swimmer 2 program is required to have a parent or guardian in the water with them the entire lesson.

Before Leaving Home:

  • Stay at home and away from others if you are feeling ill or have symptoms of COVID-19.

  • Bring your face covering, as you will be required to wear it while in the facility.

  • Arrive no more than 15 minutes prior to the start of your swim time.

  • Early entry into the facility will not be permitted.

  • Bring your own water bottle as water fountains and refill stations are not available at this time.

Arrival at the Vollmer Complex:

  • You will be required to wear a face covering upon entering the facility.

  • Please enter through the main sliding doors, located closest to the outdoor clock tower.

  • You can check in as early as 15 minutes before and up to 10 minutes after your scheduled start time, however, you will only be permitted access to the building during this time frame.

  • Upon entry, you will be greeted by a staff member for screening at the front desk.

  • On your first visit, you will be required to provide a signed copy of the Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability relating to COVID-19.

  • You are required to use hand sanitizer which is provided at the entrance/exit of the facility.

  • You must scan your membership card upon arrival, for membership validation and contact tracing purposes.

  • No outdoor shoes are permitted on the pool deck, only clean sandals or water shoes are allowed.

  • We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Aquatic Centre Use

  • Patrons must keep face coverings on until they enter the pool.

  • Face covering should be worn at all times by those accompanying the user, in accordance with provincial guidelines.

  • Face coverings are required when entering/exiting the area.

  • Please remember to remain physically distanced from others while entering and exiting the pool and while on the pool deck. Remain physically distanced from others while participating in your aquatic activity

  • Leave the pool and pool deck promptly at the end of your scheduled time.

  • Dressing room use is limited to 15 minutes after your scheduled pool time.

  • Please exit the building within 15 minutes and without unnecessary delay.

Activity Limitations:

  • Members will be limited to one time slot per activity daily (for example: members are able to use the fitness centre and the pool but not the pool two times in one day).

  • Should space allow on the day of the activity, members are permitted to participate in more than one aquatic activity.

Please Note:

  • Bathers will be permitted to use the dressing rooms before and after their aquatic activity.

  • Lockers will be available for use. Remember to bring your own lock.

  • Showers will be available for use.

  • Limited pool equipment will be available for use (flutter boards, aqua fitness dumbbells, life jackets, pool noodles).

  • Pool equipment will be sanitized after use.

  • Spectators will be permitted. Spectators will be limited to one spectator per bather. Spectators must remain physically distanced in the viewing area on the pool deck during the aquatic activity.
