The Town of LaSalle hosts the annual Holiday Lights Heritage Nights event at the LaSalle Civic Centre at 5950 Malden Road from November 24, 2023, to January 7, 2024. This beautiful outdoor light display will transform the area into a magical outdoor walk-through holiday wonderland, including numerous ornamental and holiday lighting displays and a forty-foot-tall walk-through tree.

The lights will be on daily from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm.

Sensory hours are Monday through Thursday from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm which includes the lights without music during these times. Accessible parking is available in the parking lot. The walkways throughout the concourse are also accessible. Washroom facilities are available.

Weekend Programming

Weekend programming take place between November 24 and December 17 from 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm including Family Fridays, Sounds of the Seasons Saturdays, and Sunday Night Markets.

  • Family Fridays will include visits with Santa (except on December 2), entertainment, and food vendors at the LaSalle Civic Centre.
  • Sounds of the Season Saturdays include live caroling performances at the LaSalle Civic Centre.
  • Holiday Night Market Sundays offer a variety of vendor displays. Browse unique local handmade products at the Event Centre, 970 Front Rd. 

December 8-10

  • Family Friday: Starting at 5:00 pm, enjoy Games on the Move who will be onsite with their exciting video game trailer. Interact with roaming festive holiday characters from EA parties and Mascots from D&D Mascots. Enjoy delicious food from Zio Dom's Pizza food truck!
  • Sounds of the Season Saturday: We welcome musician Justin Jewell who will perform three live sets, from 5:00 pm - 5:45 pm, 6:00 pm - 6:45 pm and 7:00 pm - 7:45 pm.
  • Night Market Sunday: It's a great time to start your holiday shopping with over 90 vendors onsite there is something for everyone! While shopping, enjoy the catchy beat of the Jazz Life Trio who will be performing three live sets, from 5:00 pm - 5:45 pm, 6:00 pm - 6:45 pm and 7:00 pm - 7:45 pm, all happening at the Event Centre on Front Rd.

December 15-17

  • Family Friday: Starting at 5:00 pm, be captivated by the magic and illusion of roaming Magician and Mentalist Ron Gudel. Be prepared to be dazzled by his tricks and illusions! Enjoy fun and lively roaming holiday characters from EA parties and Mascots from D&D Mascots. Montanero's Coffee will be onsite offering a delicious variety of beverages to keep you warm.
  • Sounds of the Season Saturday: We welcome acoustic musician Sandy Ridge who will perform three live sets, from 5:00 pm - 5:45 pm, 6:00 pm - 6:45 pm and 7:00 pm - 7:45 pm.
  • Night Market Sunday: Finish or start your holiday shopping! With over 90 vendors to choose from, there is something for everyone. While you shop, enjoy relaxing live music by Melissa and Glen of the Accousticclassics. They will be performing three live sets, from 5:00 pm - 5:45 pm, 6:00 pm - 6:45 pm and 7:00 pm - 7:45 pm, all happening at the Event Centre on Front Rd.

Holiday Night Market Sundays

The Holiday Sunday Night Markets will be held at the Event Centre at 970 Front Road allowing for a large variety of vendors selling homemade, handmade, and local products. 

Parking is available at the Event Centre by entering the parking lot from Bouffard Road. Additional parking is available at the Riverdance Building and the LaSalle Boat Ramp at the corner of Front Road and Laurier Drive. It is a short walk from the additional parking lot to the Event Centre. Guests can be dropped off at the Event Centre before parking. Vendor applications are now closed. Night Market Vendors Information

Set Up and Tear Down

Vendor set up begins no earlier than 90 minutes prior to the event opening time. Vendor spaces are assigned in advance by Town staff. Vendors may be asked to move their booth. Set up must be completed no later than ten minutes prior to the opening time.

Vendor tear down begins at the immediate conclusion of the event hours. Early tear down is prohibited. Tear down should be completed no later than one hour past the event ending time. Vendors must remove all materials, equipment and garbage. Any garbage left behind is subject to administrative fees. The Town will not hold on to lost items. 

Vendor Parking: Vendors are asked to remove their vehicles after setting up from the LaSalle Event Centre lot to make room for customer parking. Please note adjacent private lots are available. The Town does not reserve parking spaces. Access of vehicles to the LaSalle Event Centre grounds (walkways, paths, etc.) is strictly prohibited. Vendors who require such service must make these needs know to the Town in advance. Approval may be given in certain circumstances.

Vendor Booth Spaces

Each accepted vendor will receive one booth space which is ten (10) feet wide and ten (10) feet deep. Vendors may request additional booths on their application, but acceptance of more than one booth space is not guaranteed. The Town does not guarantee exclusivity and other vendors may be accepted with similar products. Please note that the Town reserves the right to decline vendor entries of similar products to ensure adequate interest and representation at the event.

The vendor is solely responsible for providing all items for their booth including tent, chairs, tables, extension cords and other set-up equipment. All sale items and signage must remain inside allotted booth spaces. Vendors are not permitted to play music at the markets.

Vendors have 90 minutes to set-up prior to opening to the public and once set-up is complete, vendors are not permitted to move their booth during the event. Vendor booths should be staffed for the entire duration of the event.

Electrical outlets are available throughout the event area. The Town will make efforts to provide vendors with access to electrical, but it is not guaranteed. Vendors are responsible for providing their own extension cords which must be a 3-prong grounded cord, outdoor rated with a maximum 125V.

Vendor Documentation and Payment Information 

Vendors must be able to provide documentation of paperwork including all related Windsor-Essex County Health Unit Forms, TSSA certifications, insurance documentation as well as necessary fire extinguisher and suppression documents. Vendors must pay $30 per booth space to attend the event. Vendor fees are non-refundable and payment is required in advance. Cancellations will not be refunded.

Please note, dogs are allowed in the park area where the holiday lights displays are located. They must be on a leash or in a harness, and under the control of the owner at all times. Visitors that require a support animal inside the Event Centre may be asked to provide documentation.

Service and support animals are welcome at the event and are permitted in all areas the public would normally be allowed to go. Service and support animals should be on a leash and under the control of their owner or handler at all times. Event staff reserve the right to ask for documentation related to service and support animals. 

Wheelchair and Stroller Accessible Grounds

The event grounds are fully paved and level to ensure ease of access for persons with mobility devices and parents with strollers.
