Vendors feature talented local artisans and crafters, farm-to-table local produce, delicious food vendors, amazing merchant consultants and local businesses. Vendors exhibit their handmade, homemade and handcrafted products.

We are looking forward to hosting our first LaSalle Night Market of 2021. The scaled down version will take place on Sunday, July 25. Take a walk or ride your bike and join us at the LaSalle Civic Centre.

Vendor Booth Spaces

Each accepted vendor will receive one booth space which is ten (10) feet wide and ten (10) feet deep. Vendors may request additional booths on their application, but acceptance of more than one booth space is not guaranteed. The Town of LaSalle does not guarantee exclusivity and other vendors may be accepted with similar products. Please note that the Town of LaSalle reserves the right to decline vendor entries of similar products to ensure adequate interest and representation at the event.

The vendor is solely responsible for any items including tent, chairs, tables, extension cords and other set-up equipment. All sale items and signage must remain inside allotted booth spaces. Vendors are not permitted to play music at the markets.

Vendors are responsible for securing their tents (with sandbags on cement and appropriate tent stakes on grass). Vendors have 90 minutes to set-up prior to opening to the public and once set-up is complete, vendors are not permitted to move their booth during the event. Tent stakes should not be longer than 10 inches. Vendor booths should be staffed for the entire duration of the event.

Unless registered as a therapy or service animal, please refrain from bringing animals to the LaSalle Night Market.

Electrical outlets are placed throughout the event area. Electrical access is not guaranteed. The Town will make efforts to provide vendors with access to electrical. Vendors are responsible for providing their own extension cords which must be a 3-prong grounded cord, outdoor rated with a maximum 125V.

Food Items for Sale

Vendors selling food items should note that the Windsor Essex County Health Unit (WECHU) is notified of all events. All vendors must be in compliance with the WECHU code. Vendors found to be in violation of this must cease operations and sales to the public until the issue is resolved. If Health and Safety concerns are prevalent, the Town reserves the right to decline entry into the event or any future events. It is the sole responsibility of the vendor to ensure adequate paperwork and inspection records are on hand at all times.

Items for Sale

The Town reserves the right to regulate goods sold by vendors and accept or deny entry with just cause. Sale of any items deemed offensive, unprofessional, and hurtful is strictly prohibited. Booths will be monitored and vendors may be asked to withdraw sales of specific items or leave the event. The Town is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Vendors must be able to provide documentation of paperwork including all related Windsor-Essex County Health Unit Forms, TSSA certifications, insurance as well as necessary fire extinguisher and suppression documents.

Vendors are asked to remove their vehicles from the LaSalle Civic Centre lot to make room for customer parking. Please note adjacent private lots are available as well. The Town does not reserve parking spaces. Access of vehicles to the LaSalle Civic Centre grounds (walkways, paths, etc.) is strictly prohibited. Vendors who require such service must make these needs know to the Town in advance. Approval may be given in these circumstances.

Vendors must pay $25 per booth space to attend the event. Vendor fees are non-refundable and payment is required in advance. Cancellations will not be refunded.

Set Up

Vendor set up begins no earlier than one hour prior to the event opening time. Vendor spaces are assigned by Town staff in advance. Vendors may be asked to move their booth. Set up must be completed no later than ten minutes prior to the opening time.

Tear Down

Tear down begins at the immediate conclusion of the event hours. Early tear down is prohibited. Tear down should be completed no later than one hour past the event ending time. Vendors must remove all materials, equipment and garbage. Any garbage left behind is subject to administrative fees. The Town will not hold on to lost items.
