The Vollmer March Break Swim and Skate schedule will be in effect from Saturday, March 8 until Friday, March 14. 

March Break swim and skate pre-registration is highly recommended as spaces are limited. Please note that regular activities including Youth Classes and Aquatic Lessons are cancelled during the week of March Break.

General Information about the Vollmer Complex

The Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex is a multi-use complex located in LaSalle, Ontario. The Vollmer Complex was built in 2008. It is named after the Vollmer family who live in LaSalle. Joan and John Vollmer and Darlene and Brad Vollmer believe in our community, and wanted to help build a place to hold activities for people of all ages.

The Town of LaSalle promotes respect in the workplace and is committed to providing a safe and positive experience for everyone using our facilities. We expect all interactions to be courteous, professional, considerate, and respectful.

We will not tolerate unsafe, abusive, unlawful, or offensive conduct. Those who engage in  this type of behaviour will be directed to leave the building and may be banned from Town facilities. Thank you for your cooperation.

The Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex has been awarded a SafeTravels Stamp, which is recognized globally for adopting proper, standardized health and hygiene protocols.

The Vollmer Complex offers 7 parking lots with accessible access (5 paved, 2 stone) with parking for 1500 vehicles

  • Lot 1 (paved): 286 spaces, 18 accessible spaces
  • Lot 2 (paved): 155 spaces, 22 accessible spaces
  • Lot 3 (paved): 210 spaces, 22 accessible spaces
  • Lot 4 (paved): 110 spaces, 10 accessible spaces
  • Lot 5 (paved): 170 spaces, 10 accessible spaces
  • Lot 6 (stone):  200 spaces, 4 accessible spaces
  • Lot 7 (stone):  300 spaces, 4 accessible spaces
