Discover The Loop at LaSalle Landing: A Year-Round Destination

Skate the scenic trail at The Loop at LaSalle Landing, a 250 metre multi-use trail offering outdoor experiences in all seasons.

During the winter months, it transforms into a picturesque ice-skating trail, with advanced refrigeration technology that maintains a smooth surface. When warmer weather returns, the ice melts, revealing a concrete pathway perfect for walking, jogging, biking, and inline/roller skating. It’s the perfect spot to stay active outdoors. 

The Loop is located at 1010 Front Road, next to the Event Centre at LaSalle Landing. Visitors are welcome daily from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Trail Details and Amenities

• Ice skates required when the ice is installed, helmets strongly recommended (not provided)
• Free skate loaning available Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm for the 2025/2026 winter season thanks to Enbridge
• Warming tent and washroom access on-site

• Parking is available in a public lot south of The Loop, at the Event Centre, and at the Riverdance building on the waterfront.
