About the Celebration of Lights 

The Celebration of Lights is a spectacular display in which Sarnia-Lambton is set aglow under a blanket of illuminated lights. Both local residents and the thousands of visitors who travel each year to view the celebration enjoy this magical festival. The Celebration of Lights began in 1984 with 650 lights and 9 displays. As a result of the popularity of the event and the community participation, the Celebration has snowballed in the following years to thousands of lights and 160 displays. 

Tour Itinerary 

9:00 am - Departure from the Vollmer Centre (The bus is traveling via the Canadian route) 

10:00 am - Arrival at Birdie’s Nest Inc. – Chatham, ON 

12:00 pm - Lunch (included) at the Glass House Nursery and Garden Centre Ltd.  – Chatham, ON 

2:30 pm - Arrival at the Kineto Theatre for a tour of one of the world’s longest continuous operating theatres.

4:30 pm - Dinner at Match Eatery, Point Edward Casino (with time for gaming) 

6:30 pm - Visit the Sarnia Celebration of Lights display 

7:00 pm - Departure for LaSalle 

9:00 pm - Arrive back in LaSalle
