November 28, 2025

Hello residents of LaSalle,

I want to start by recognizing the incredible generosity shown to the LaSalle Firefighters Association ‘LaSalle Gives Back’ 2025 campaign. Thanks to the kindness of our residents, the initiative raised $72,834.39 this year. Of that, $67,834.39 has been donated to Saint Andrew’s Anglican Church - Community Food Bank, supporting families who on rely on its services year round. And $5,000 was donated to The LaSalle Hangout for Youth, ensuring our local youth continue to have a safe and supportive space. Thank you to LaSalle Fire, and to everyone who donated, volunteered, and helped spread the word - your compassion truly does make a difference in our community.

The Loop Skate Trail at LaSalle Landing

I am delighted to announce the opening of The Loop Skate Trail at LaSalle Landing, at 1010 Front Road (south of the Event Centre). Visitors can skate daily from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm, and users must wear ice skates. There is a Skate Loaning Program, available during weekend hours. Please remember, as this is an outdoor ice trail, conditions will vary based on the weather, and there may be temporary closures.
V
isitors are encouraged to check the latest trail status and list of rules at The Loop at LaSalle Landing.

Breakfast with Santa and the Mayor

Santa Claus is making his way back to LaSalle, and everyone is invited! Join myself and LaSalle Council for breakfast at the Event Centre at LaSalle Landing, on Saturday, December 6, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.

Children will have the opportunity to visit Santa and share their holiday wish list! There will also be a variety of activities including face painting, and photo opportunities with Santa and other characters. Tickets are limited, so don’t miss your chance! Visit Breakfast with Santa. See you there!
