Watermain and Road Construction: Quick Avenue and Wales Street
The Town of LaSalle Public Works Department is planning to begin watermain construction the week of June 29, 2026, on Quick Avenue and Wales Street, from Morton Drive to the southern limit. The project also includes mill and pave of the roadway. Work is expected to continue through September, weather permitting.
Crews will be installing new watermains and connecting existing services. This work will take place within the road right-of-way and may affect nearby properties.
What to expect:

Temporary water service interruptions (typically less than 4 hours) during service connections. Notification will be given to residents.

Lane restrictions or road closures, with access for local traffic and emergency services maintained.

Short delays accessing driveways during certain stages of construction.

Occasional discoloured water due to disturbance in the existing system (run cold water until clear).

Garbage, recycling, and yard waste collection will continue as usual.
Construction areas can be dangerous. Please use caution near work zones and remind children to stay a safe distance away.
