Noise By-law Exemption

In accordance with Noise By-law 8706, residents of the Town of LaSalle may apply for a Noise By-law Exemption. Noise By-law Exemptions are  required when amplified sounds are used outdoors for an extended period of time. All Noise By-law exemption requests will be reviewed to determine eligibility.

Fee: There is a $50 non-refundable application fee. Please note that a 1.75% service charge will be applied to your credit card.

Timeline: Requests are to be submitted at least 30 days before the event. Late submissions run the risk of not being processed. 

Notifications: Please note that upon the submission of your request, the Town of LaSalle will notify neighbouring properties of your intent to use amplified sound.
