Water and Wastewater Billing

The Town of LaSalle administers Water/Wastewater Billing Services. LaSalle residents will receive bills from Essex Powerlines for hydro usage only.

Residential Customers

The Town of LaSalle will send water/wastewater bills out quarterly, or every three months (April, July, October and January) to residential customers. This means that bills will have three months' worth of usage included. For example, April's bill will include usage for January, February, and March. The due dates are set to the last Friday of the month for the month that the bill was issued.

Residents will see the new water rates on the April 2024 bill for usage in January, February and March.

Institutional/Commercial/Industrial/Multi-Residential

Since commercial/industrial/institutional/multi-residential water and wastewater customers typically use more water than residential customers, they will be billed monthly for the previous month's usage. For example, February's bill will include usage for January.

Water Rates

As part of the 2024 Budget Deliberations, LaSalle Council approved an increase in consumption and capital replacement rates. The increase for 2024 will be effective January 1, 2024 and will consist of a 2% increase on the water consumption rate, a $4.50 per quarter increase on the water capital (watermain replacement) change, and $4.50 per quarter increase on the wastewater capital replacement charge. The total increase amounts to $11.52 per quarter to the average residential household. For more information about water rates, visit our Water and Wastewater Rates page.

Online Services Account

Customers have the option to have a paper bill mailed to them or an e-doc provided to their Online Services Account. You can login to view your quarterly water/wastewater bills. Your PIN # is located on your water/wastewater bill. Your quarterly water/wastewater bill will be available through your Online Services Account once you access it; bills will not be mailed to you.
