The Event Centre, a former dry boat storage unit, located at 970 Front Road, has the following amenities:

  • 21,500 ft2 of event space for year round use
  • Parking spaces for 131 vehicles with an additional 11 accessible parking spaces
  • Food servery with fridge, freezer and preparation sink
  • Barrier-free restrooms

  • Large glass doors that open to outdoor plaza/Detroit River and to Front Road

  • Dry event with tables and chairs: Maximum 1000 persons
  • Market/trade show: Maximum 500 persons

Parking

Parking is available by entering the parking lot from Bouffard Road. There are parking spaces for 142 vehicles, 11 are accessible.

Additional parking is available at the Riverdance Building and the LaSalle Boat Ramp at the corner of Front Road and Laurier Drive. It is a short walk from the additional parking lot to the Event Centre. Guests can be dropped off at the Event Centre before parking.

Expression of Interest to Host an Event

The Town of LaSalle is seeking applicants to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for hosting a public event at the Event Centre, located at LaSalle’s waterfront at 970 Front Road. Events should be scheduled in 2023 and/or 2024. Priority will be given to events that are open to the general public and enhances the community’s access to unique and diverse events.

All EOI requests will be reviewed by Town administration between November 28, 2022 and December 9, 2022. EOI applicants will be notified on December 12. Additional requests to host an event will begin to be accepted in January 2023 and will be considered based on the availability and suitability of the event.

Racquet Sports  

The Event Centre is also equipped to host indoor pickleball and/or tennis during the winter when outdoor courts are closed. If you are interested in use of the courts, visit our Racquet Sports web page and complete the form.
