The Event Centre, located on the LaSalle Landing property at 970 Front Road, includes the following amenities:

  • 21,500 ft2 of indoor event space for year-round use
  • 15,000 ft2 of outdoor event space on the asphalt plaza
  • Parking spaces for 131 vehicles with an additional 11 accessible parking spaces
  • Electric vehicle charging stations
  • Main floor loading bay door for event equipment
  • 120V, 30A and 50A electrical outlets
  • Food servery with fridge, freezer and preparation sink
  • Barrier-free restrooms
  • Second floor meeting room
  • Second floor balcony
  • Large glass doors that open to outdoor plaza/Detroit River
  • Outdoor canopy cover over walkway for inclement weather
  • Daily rental fee of $1320/hst

Event Centre Capacities

  • Dry event with tables and chairs: Maximum 1000 persons

  • Market/trade show: Maximum 500 persons

  • Alcohol with tables and chairs: Maximum 700 persons

All capacities are subject to further restriction based on your event floor plan, in accordance with the Ontario Fire Code.

Measurements and Special Features

  • Maximum ceiling height: 30 feet

  • Maximum restroom capacity at one time: 11 persons per restroom

  • 8 garage doors that can be opened with maximum clearance of 12.5 ft


Parking is available by entering the parking lot from Bouffard Road. There are parking spaces for 142 vehicles, 11 are accessible.

Additional parking is available at the Riverdance Building and the LaSalle Boat Ramp at the corner of Front Road and Laurier Drive. It is a short walk from the additional parking lot to the Event Centre. Guests can be dropped off at the Event Centre before parking.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the facility licensed for alcohol?
The Event Organizer must obtain and provide a Special Occasion Permit through the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), or provide a Caterer's Endorsement. Events must also follow the Municipal Alcohol Risk Management Policy.
 Do you have equipment to use to decorate the space?
 The Event Organizer is responsible for providing the equipment required, including chairs, tables, audio/visual equipment, as well as ladders needed to set up décor.
 Can I advertise my event?
 We welcome groups to submit their event information to our Event Calendar page. If approved by Town staff, signage can be erected outside of the Event Centre.
Am I responsible for clean up after the event?
 The Event Organizer is responsible for ensuring that the facility is left in the same state that it was provided to them. We will have janitorial staff on site to clean restrooms, empty garbage, and floor cleaning throughout your rental time. The Event Organizer is responsible for removing all equipment.
Which events can I host at the Event Centre?
 We welcome events of all types, with preference being given to events that are open to the public. For more information, please refer to our Facility Rentals - Event Hosting Policy.
