2025 Annual Mill and Pave
Project Overview:
The Town of LaSalle will be using the Cold In-Place Recycling with Expanded Asphalt Mix (CIREAM) method to rehabilitate Broderick Road in 2025. CIREAM is a sustainable technique that involves milling and reusing the existing asphalt material, which is then treated with a recycling agent to restore the road’s structural integrity. This method minimizes the environmental impact and reduces construction waste, while providing a long-lasting solution for road repair.
Safety Measures during Construction:
- Reduced speed limits and warning signs will be in place to guide vehicles safely through the construction zone.
- Traffic vehicles and flaggers will be present throughout the construction process.
- Road closures and detours may be present.
- There will be temporary road surface roughness as the CIREAM method is performed, but the final result will provide a smooth and durable surface.
Opportunity for Culvert Replacement:
As part of the road rehabilitation project, the Town would like to offer an opportunity for residents to replace any aging culverts through the Town of LaSalle’s Dilapidated Culvert Policy. Replacing your culvert during road construction can be more cost-effective and reduce future disruptions to your property. If you have concerns regarding the condition of your culvert or would like to take advantage of this opportunity, please contact the Town by March 1st, 2025 to discuss the details and coordinate with the project team. The Town of LaSalle will assist you in determining the best course of action.
