Malden Road Phase 1 Reconstruction

The Malden Road Phase 1 Reconstruction project is currently in the detailed design stage. Below is an overview of the project:

Project Information:

• Two lanes of traffic widening to three lanes on Malden Road.
• Addition of bike lanes and sidewalks.
• New signal light at Reaume Road.

Project Schedule: 

• November 2025 - Enbridge will begin relocating the gas utilities, including private service connections. Work to finish before January 2026, and restart in Spring, 2026
• Summer 2026 - Construction to begin
• Summer 2027 - Project anticipated to be completed
