Vince Marcotte Pedestrian Bridge Rehabilitation (Pirate Bridge)

Additional information: November, 2024 - The pedestrian bridge was recently inspected and deemed unsafe for public use. At that time the decision was made to immediately close the bridge. Some repairs can be carried out during the winter, while the remaining work will need to wait for warmer weather in the spring. We will provide an update here and on social media once the bridge is ready to be re-opened. We thank you for your patience during the closure and repair process.

The current rehabilitation and upgrades that are being constructed are weather dependent, please note that the work being carried out requires calm days, that are above zero degrees celsius.
