Celebrate Canada Day in LaSalle with busker-style family fun, live music and a spectacular Canadian themed drone show on July 1 from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm at The Loop and Event Centre at LaSalle Landing.

About the Musicians

Criss Cochrane fashions a sultry, soulful brand of popular music, combining her Nova Scotian singer-songwriter roots with her love of jazz, retro pop, and classic soul.

Windsor-born Marshall exploded into the folk music scene in 2017, performing more than 200 shows across Canada and the U.K. He has five songs celebrating Windsor-Essex, including 'Workin' in the Salt Mine' and 'The Windsor Hum' and can be found performing at local venues across Windsor-Essex.

Molly was born and raised on the east coast of Canada and performed at a young age at family gatherings were the music was plentiful and always filled with old country and bluegrass. Molly is a sought after local musician that plays at numerous venues across the region.

Mike Wood can put on a suit and absolutely dazzle an audience. Whether he’s the main event, part of a variety show, or simply acting as host, Mike’s warm sarcasm and fast thinking make for very happy ticket-holders.

Scott is a Canadian Beat Box Campion who has wowed audiences internationally and domestically for more than 15 years. His superpower is recreating any sound with only his voice from the squeaky creak of a door hinge to the chopping blades of a helicopter. Jackson now arguably Canada's most celebrated beat boxer was a finalist on Canada's Got Talent and travels the world captivating audiences with his unique talent.

Over his career, Steve has crisscrossed the country more times than he can count, rocked the stages of America's Got Talent and Canada's Got Talent and met a legion of incredible people along the way. Whether he's soaring through the air, shredding on his guitar or making audiences cry with laughter, one thins is certain - Steve Goodtime delivers a real-life good time every single show!

About the Activities

Ever since Jo the ChalkChick was old enough to 'not eat' the chalk, it has been impossible to keep it out of her art-making hands. After training in both oil painting and tattooing, Jo pursued an apprenticeship with Toronto chalk artist Chalkmaster Dave. It was the perfect niche for their creative ingenuity and ever since, Jo has become a feature of Toronto's street Toronto's street culture specializing in chalk and temporary street art.

Over the past decade, Jo has been a feature at Buskerfests and cultural festivals across Canada and has worked with Mastercard, the Toronto Maple Leafs, Corus Entertainment and Nike.

With a twirl of her shimmering wings and a flick of her wand, Melody Mistblossom brings a touch of magic to every event. Dressed in dazzling fairy attire, she glides through crowds, creating a mesmerizing display of iridescent bubbles. Her graceful movements and playful spirit transport audiences into a dreamlike realm where imagination takes flight.

From delicate, swirling spheres to spectacular, oversized bubbles, her performances spark wonder and leave a trail of joy wherever she goes.

Accessibility

The event provides access to barrier-free restrooms.

The event has accessible parking with paved, level pathways.

Parking is available at the Event Centre by entering the parking lot from Bouffard Road. Additional parking spaces are available at the Riverdance building which is a short walk to the Event Centre. Guests can be dropped off at the Event Centre before parking.

Service and support animals are welcome at the event and are permitted in all areas the public would normally be allowed to go. Service and support animals should be on a leash and under the control of their owner or handler at all times. Event staff reserve the right to ask for documentation related to service and support animals.

The event grounds are fully paved and level to ensure ease of access for persons with mobility devices and parents with strollers.
