October 7, 2026: Voter Information Letters (VIL) for the 2026 LaSalle Municipal and School Board Elections have been mailed, and residents will begin receiving them in the next few days.
Each VIL includes important information about the voting platform, how to vote, and a PIN needed to access the voting portal. Eligible voters are encouraged to review the information carefully to ensure the information is accurate, and the VIL should be kept in a safe place until voting opens. After two days of deliberations on November 27 and 28, LaSalle Council made amendments to the 2026 Budget resulting in a Municipal General Levy of $53M (it was $50M in 2025). This amounts to an increase of the LaSalle portion of taxes to $109.99 annually for the average single-family home, or 3.47%.

The Town of LaSalle is pleased to announce the opening of The Loop Skate Trail at LaSalle Landing. The Loop is located at 1010 Front Road, south of the Event Centre.
