NOTICE is hereby given to the Municipal Electors of the Town of LaSalle that a By-Election to elect one (1) at-large Councillor, has been called. Voting Day for this By-Election is Monday, October 20, 2025. The newly-elected Councillor will be sworn in on October 28, 2025, and will hold office until the end of the term, on November 14, 2026.
At the Regular Meeting of Council, Tuesday, July 8, 2025, Council is expected to adopt a by-law to hold a By-Election for 1 Councillor Seat.

The LaSalle Transit Summer Saver Pass is a 2-month pass designed exclusively for youth (ages 13 to 19), providing savings during the sunny summer months. The $126.00 unlimited ride pass can be used to ride the LaSalle 25 bus in July and August.
In October of 2022, the Town of LaSalle conducted a Traffic Study of the Mayfair Avenue and Maple Avenue intersection. Based on the findings, the Town decided to reassign the right-of-way from Maple Avenue to Mayfair Avenue at this intersection.

The Town will begin a storm sewer reconstruction project in the coming months along Front Road from Reaume Road to Boismier Avenue. During the project, traffic lanes will be reduced from four (4) to two (2) lanes, and turning restrictions will be in place. This project will cause major traffic delays. Alternate routes should be considered, as well as adding additional time for commutes.
