Senior Active Living

Welcome to LaSalle Senior Active Living!

A program designed to help older adults stay healthy, learn new things, and connect with others. LaSalle is proud to be part of Ontario’s 300+ Seniors Active Living Centres. This program is made possible with an annual  $55,000 grant from the Ministry of Seniors and Accessibility.

Here are some of the exciting sessions coming up:

  • Weekly Learning and Activity Sessions: Every Tuesday and Wednesday. New sessions are being developed all the time, try yoga, card games, painting, water activities, and much more! Weekly Learning and Activity Sessions are all about staying active, learning new things, and having fun with others. Pre-register for each session.

  • Pole Walking: Every Thursday at 10:00 am. Walk your way to better health while enjoying the great outdoors. If it’s raining, head indoors to the Vollmer Centre. Walking poles are provided!

  • Cyber Seniors: Learn to use your phone, tablet, or laptop with help from tech-savvy staff. Visit the link below for session information through LaSalle Active Registration.

Additional offerings to include Coffee with a Community Leader and Sneakers and Speakers sessions. Special seniors' day events are also in the works. More information to come in the future as the program rolls out further.

Pre-registration is required and opens up two weeks in advance of each activity. Registration is open to all individuals 55+. For more information and to register for sessions, please call 519-969-7771 or visit LaSalle Active Registration by clicking the button below.
