The Town of LaSalle has released the 2026 Draft Budget and Business Plan document. It is available on the Budget and Finance page of the Town’s website, and can also be viewed in person at the LaSalle Civic Centre.
Holiday Lights Heritage Nights will include two locations to experience the magic of LaSalle throughout the holiday season: The LaSalle Civic Centre for light displays including a 40-foot-tall walk-through tree and a tree lighting on November 21. The Event Centre at LaSalle Landing for weekend programming beginning November 28. The weekend programming that was previously at the LaSalle Civic Centre will now be held at the Event Centre.
The LaSalle Sparky’s Toy Drive officially kicks off today, Tuesday, November 12, 2025. Firefighters will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages, gift cards, and cash donations at various locations throughout LaSalle.
Join Members of LaSalle Council and administration on Monday, November 17, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Vollmer Centre Lobby, 2121 Laurier Parkway, to learn more about the 2026 draft budget, and the Parks, Recreation and Culture and Master Plan. In addition, display boards and administration from all departments will be at the open house.
The Town of LaSalle, in partnership with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 594, will host a LaSalle Remembrance Day Ceremony on Tuesday, November 11 to honour our Veterans who have fallen, and those who continue to serve Canada today. The ceremony is located at LaSalle Cenotaph Park, 5950 Malden Road, and begins at 11:00 am.

Mike Seguin was officially sworn in as a member of LaSalle Council during the Regular Meeting of Council held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Seguin was elected in the 2025 LaSalle Municipal By-Election on October 20, following the passing of long-serving Councillor Sue Desjarlais. Seguin’s term as councillor will run until November 14, 2026. The next municipal election in LaSalle is set for October 2026.
