At the Regular Meeting of Council on January 27, 2026, LaSalle Council approved the 2026 Schedule of Fees. This approval confirms the 2026 user fees and ensures they are aligned with the financial direction established during budget deliberations.

The final version of the Parks, Recreation and Culture Master Plan was presented and adopted at the Regular Meeting of LaSalle Council on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. This comprehensive plan outlines the community’s long‑term vision for parks, recreational amenities, cultural services, and public spaces, helping guide decision‑making for the next several years in the Town of LaSalle. 

Based on Environment and Climate Change Canada’s forecast, Dr. Mehdi Aloosh, Windsor-Essex County Health Unit’s Medical Officer of Health is extending the Cold Warning for Saturday, January 24, 2026.

The Town of LaSalle will host the Tuesday, January 27, 2026, Regular Meeting of Council at 6:00 pm. Meetings are held in-person in Council Chambers; members of Council and administration may participate virtually. Meetings are streamed live on the Town of LaSalle YouTube Channel.

The Town of LaSalle residential quarterly water and wastewater bills were mailed at the beginning of this month and are due by Friday, January 30, 2026.

The LaSalle New Year's Eve Fireworks show is scheduled at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex, 2121 Laurier Parkway. Fireworks begin at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, December 31. Please arrive early to find a parking spot and settle in before 7:15 pm.
