The annual LaSalle Strawberry Festival parade is taking place on Saturday, June 7. This cherished parade tradition brings much excitement for children of all ages but also includes some temporary road closures.
The Town of LaSalle Public Works Department will reopen Matchett Road bridge over Turkey Creek, Friday, May 30 at approximately 4:00 pm, after months of rehabilitation work.
Ride LaSalle Transit 25 for free from Thursday, June 5 to Saturday, June 7! The bus service has been enhanced during the LaSalle Strawberry Festival with free service and extended hours to match those of the festival.
While taking in the LaSalle Strawberry Festival, say 'Hi' to Mayor Meloche. She will have a tent set up near the entrance to the festival and will be on hand to chat with residents.
At its Regular Meeting of Council held on May 27, 2025, LaSalle Town Council voted in favour of holding a by-election to fill a vacant seat on Council.
The Town of LaSalle will be raising the Regional Accessibility Flag at a ceremony on Monday, May 26 at 1:00 pm at the LaSalle Civic Centre, 5950 Malden Road, to mark the beginning of National AccessAbility Week.
