The Sprucewood Trail north of Orford Street will be temporarily closed beginning Wednesday, July 15, to allow for storm sewer infrastructure work.

The Front Road storm sewer reconstruction project is reaching a significant milestone, with the work taking place directly on the roadway expected to be completed within the next couple of weeks.

UPDATE: Thursday, July 9, 2026 - Due to heavy rainfall and weather-related conditions, the fog testing originally scheduled for Monday, July 6, 2026, has been rescheduled to Tuesday, July 14, 2026. 

The Town of LaSalle’s Public Works Department will begin Phase 2 of its sanitary sewer maintenance project along Victory Street, from Hinde Street to 880 Victory Street. The work is expected to be completed in one day.

The Town of LaSalle residential quarterly water and wastewater bills were mailed at the beginning of this month and are due by Friday, July 31.

Based on information from Environment and Climate Change Canada, Dr. Mehdi Aloosh, Windsor-Essex County Health Unit's Medical Officer of Health, has issued the Extended Heat Warning for Windsor and Essex County to include Saturday, July 4, 2026.
