The Town of LaSalle requires all dogs within the municipality to be licensed by March 31 each year. Reminder letters will be mailed out this month.

Phase 1 Cat Spay and Neuter Vouchers are now available in LaSalle. The first phase runs from February 1 until July 31, 2026. 

The Essex-Windsor Solid Waste Authority (EWSWA) is offering a "Recycling Container Take Back Program" at EWSWA Depots from January 15 to April 15, 2026. Residents may drop-off unwanted or incompatible blue/red boxes and recycling carts for free where they will be recycled, instead of going to landfill.

Based on Environment and Climate Change Canada’s forecast, Dr. Mehdi Aloosh, Windsor-Essex County Health Unit’s Medical Officer of Health is extending the Cold Warning for Saturday, January 24, 2026.

The Town of LaSalle residential quarterly water and wastewater bills were mailed at the beginning of this month and are due by Friday, January 30, 2026.

The LaSalle New Year's Eve Fireworks show is scheduled at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex, 2121 Laurier Parkway. Fireworks begin at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, December 31. Please arrive early to find a parking spot and settle in before 7:15 pm.
